Reviews of various electric golf trolleys

Are you a fan of remote control electric golf trolleys

We would like some comments or views on remote control trolleys;  Do you think they are a good thing? Are they too much trouble?  Are they more things to go wrong?  Can they be distracting to you or others in the middle of a golf game?

I personally tried one out and maybe because i wasn’t used to it i found it difficult to use.  I suppose the fact of trying in a competition for the first time may have been a mistake but i found I was using my concentration on the trolley most of the way round it not only exhausted my concentration but took my ‘eye’ of the game.  Little to say I didn’t score that day.

here is a remote control electric golf trolley in action.  See what you think?

  1. Love them! But watch out for PowaKaddy brand. A lost or broken(dropped) remote can be costly. $350 US to replace. Really? Not to mention no way to have it service without shipping it across the country. Or having to install new wiring connections because PowaKaddy’s go bad in about a year.
The Bat Caddy cart gets my vote!
